Abstract

For more than three years we have been carrying out a project aimed at the study of the ceramic production manufactured by tamazighen female potters of the Rif. Although our objectives are broader, as we also seek a social and economic improvement of these women. We consider ethnoarchaeology as a discipline that gives us valuable information for obtaining hypotheses about the societies of the past. With this communication we want to make known the pottery of an agropastoral community with a subsistence economy, which can help us to solve many of the doubts when it comes to a ceramic study of the past societies.
