The paper aims to study the role of the (ir)religious lexicon through several literary accounts related to the myth of Helen and her stay in Egypt. Concretely, the interplays between religion and irreligiosity will be verified over examples from Herodotus, Euripides’ Helen, and Plutarch’s De Herodoti malignitate.
