A group of finds, epigraphic and others, recovered from the late-imperial wall of Conimbriga in a conservation and restoration operation that took place in 2020 and 2021, is presented.
Especially remarquable are two examples of funerary epigraphs, as well as a fragment of a monumental inscription, probably mentioning Nero.
These finds are discussed in the context of the reuse of materials from the city's necropolis as construction material in the late antique defense.
