The focus was on the question of the passage of time and its reflections in the work of Eugénio de Andrade. Of particular interest was motivic and its eventual evolution or renewal over time. Among the aspects considered are, as features of the later times, ecphrasis, the exploration of intertextual relations or the activity of translation. Among the multiplicity of intertexts summoned in the poet's work, some prominence was given to the Greek legacy.
