Abstract

This article aims to rethink the theory of contemporary art in the light of scientific concepts, establishing a possible structural correspondence between artistic invention and scientific invention. But it also aims to draw attention to the necessity of an adequate theoretical thinking about art in a pre-catastrophic world.
