Abstract

This article aims to think about what can be drawn from a theoretical thought about sports for the purpose of delimiting the autonomous field of aesthetic. Moreover, it also looks into the benefits provided by the consolidation of autonomous aesthetics for a centre-based reflection. It therefore theorises about the concepts of aesthetics and sports, contributing to an extended analysis of culture and communication.
