Closely linked to a reality that is not too distant from our own, and with a clear influence from Brechtian epic theatre, Corpo-delito na sala de espelhos not only exposes the atrocities committed by the PIDE, but also denounces the practice of justice applied to political police agents in the aftermath of the April Revolution. The play has been enthusiastically received by critics for the importance of its subject matter, but it has also provoked some less positive comments in terms of the impact it may have (had).
