Having as a stepping stone the dialogue between "Barcas Novas", by João Zorro, and "Barcas Novas", by Fiama Hasse Pais Brandão, the author reflects on the connection between poetry and the world, between poetry and power, between the poetic act and the political act. This reflection is divided into two movements: a more general one, in which the dialogue between João Zorro and Fiama grows through the addition of other dialogues between several authors from different times, and a more specific and subjective one, in which the author focuses on her own poetry, questioning its place in its time and space. Issues such as violence, identities or citizenship, or its absence, are intertwined with a definition of poetry as a place of possibility and, thus, utopia.
