In the poetry of Vasco Graça Moura: Scherzo and the recreation of the ancient muse

Abstract

Classical Antiquity reveals itself as a Muse within all other muses, either carnal or poetic, in any case mythicized by Vasco Graça Moura, and who correspond to the various areas of the poet’s creation: she is present in his poetry with Camonian ressonances, she gives voice to his erotic poetry, gives an expressive body to his refl ective poetry, leaning towards the essay and a refl ection on Europe.
