The disciplinarization process of Angolan Literature is addressed in the analytical framework of a disciplinary history which starts from the colonial situation, highlighting the agency of Angolan native elites and their reactions against the colonial literary canon and consequently the production of counter-canons and counter-literatures by a coherent discourse setting up an alternative modernity. Similar exercise calls the concept of arquitopic Angolanity in a dialectic of legitimation discourses that opposes it to the concept of creoleness. Thus, it is recognized the Angolan literature as an object of a propositional knowledge from which derives, on the one hand, its epistemological and academic status, on the other hand, the fundamentals of the Angolan literary canon. Therefore, it is stressed an advocacy for a legitimation concerning the criticism to the dominant models of teaching and research of the Angolan literature in a holistic perspective, exploring the institutionality of oral literatures.
