Abstract

The article reviews the life and work of Alfredo Troni (1845-1904), in its various strands of jurist, journalist and novelist, synthesizing, on the one hand, a number of dispersed information and, on the other, correcting and adding several new elements resulting especially from its school process in the archive of the University of Coimbra and the systematic reading of the Boletim Ofiicial of the various colonial spaces in which the author lived.
