REFLEXÃO SOBRE A CONSTRUÇÃO DE UM VERBETE DE DICIONÁRIO

Abstract

The present text is the outcome of a presentation attained at a Conference on the Project Fiction Figures in the scope of the Portuguese Literature Centre and as a result of the challenge launched by Carlos Reis, the coordinator of the project. Carlos Reis has suggested the group of investigation to reflect on the entries’ construction process of the Dicionário de Personagens da Ficção Portuguesa – Dictionary of Portuguese Fiction Characters – which is to be published in digital form soon. Thus, the construction process of the entry on Teodorico Raposo, protagonist of A Relíquia, is analysed in order to identify problems and dilemmas as well as to come up with solutions. This consideration is, therefore, embedded in the main point of the conference “Problemas e soluções decorrentes da elaboração de verbetes específicos e já distribuídos” – "Problems and solutions in consequence of the production of specific and already distributed entries."
