Abstract

That work describes the training process with a group of professionals of the psychopedagogical sciences of the Public Administration, in Barcelona. It is as a model which wants to prove the effects of the in progress competences (skills) training over the own professional profile. It explains the goodness of the aware analysis of the own work skills (metacompetence or metacognition) as an interesting instrument for the long life learning processes with adult persons. That experience is based in professionals working in complex tasks as are labour insertion or intermediation. The issue explains the fundamentals of the metacompetence and of the professional profile, and it details its objectives, sample, methodology and conclusions.
