Communication is an essential factor in the relationships between people and organizations, whether private or public, playing a facilitating role for the democratization of access to information.
Accessibility is often referred to as “what can be achieved”. However, this article aims to reflect on accessible communication also as “what is easy to understand”. Indeed, for an excellent communication, it is essential to break down the barriers that prevent people from perceiving and remembering a message.
As a methodological approach, we developed the case study of the programa Edifícios + Sustentáveis, using a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the website, social networks and digital support materials’ accessibility.
