This article proposes a comparative analysis between Dinossauro Excelentíssimo (1972 and 1979) by José Cardoso Pires and Los girasoles ciegos (2004) by Alberto Méndez, taking into consideration the representations of power, fear and dictatorship as well as memory and post-memory studies. In order to do so, interdiscoursive analysis will be used, as studied by Tomás Albaladejo, intertwining Iberian Studies, Comparative Literature and Memory Studies.
