Abstract

This study consists of the analysis of the library of the Chapter of León Cathedral as an interesting example of a collective library of the Old Regime. Pursuant to a quantitavist methodology, the internal features of the library are analysed from distinct - chronologic, thematic, linguistic, etc. - perspectives, in view of appropriately outlining its importance as a platform of dissemination of written culture.
