Abstract

This article aims to analyze the processes of the Coimbra Labor Court, for the
period 1930-1935, and thus reflect on the victims working conditions and the causes of the accidents and their consequences. Not forgetting the time when accidents occur, it is important to contextualize key aspects to their increase, particularly in the beginning of the 20th century, such as industrial  development and legal regulations associated with the labor courts.
