Abstract

The ceremonies on the occasion of the funeral and the papal elections gave rise to the preaching of sermons in the church of Our Lady of Loreto, in Lisbon. Using this parenetic corpus, we will try to evaluate how the sermons constitute a moment of reflection and an approach of political theory.
