Abstract

Writers, compilers, copyists and translators effectively intervened in the composition of manuscripts during the Late Middle Ages, guessing a series of changes at the dawn of the Modern Age. This article tries to identify and value the different authors and participants in the elaboration of some manuscripts preserved in the Capitular and Columbian Library of Seville and in the National Library of Spain, highlighting some of their formal characteristics and drawing a line of the evolution that the book experienced in these centuries.
