Colonization and emigration in Pax Iulia

Abstract

In this work we study the dynamics of mobility that exist in the Pax Iulia colony (Beja, Portugal) based on the epigraphy of the city. Starting from the foundation of the colony, we will approach aspects related to the types of mobility that exist, the origin of its protagonists and the causes that motivated their displacement.
