Abstract

This work contains an analysis of what has led to the Spanish presence in the curriculum of compulsory education in the subject Education for Citizenship. It was a controversial initiative that raised a political and social debate over the years that he ruled Spain, the Spanish Socialist Party (2004-2011). At the beginning of a new political era after the Popular Party’s election victory in late 2011, maybe I can be useful approach to a complex reality as provided by this work.
