Abstract

This article aims to present the main results of a study about the transition to work of the students with a graduation in Educational Sciences from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra, with a curricular training experience in the area of Adult Educational and Training. Concerning the data it is possible to conclude that all the participants have evaluated this period as a crucial moment in the definition of their future professional trajectories. Despite its recent history as an area of training at the high education level, it is also possible to conclude that the Educational Sciences are being seen as excellent opportunities to build and preserve very well structured career trajectories in the professional world.
