The epigraphic testimonies, especially milestones, are essential for reconstructing the layout of Roman roads and outlining its history, particularly in those cases where material remains are scarce.
The long itinerary that linked Olisipo to Bracara finds itself in this situation, with fifty milestones, with unequal distribution, some only recently found, justifying a new appreciation of this reasonable corpus and some of the problems still open.
