Maria Josefa Carmela de Bourbon was a discreet Infanta of Spain. She lived in the courts of her father Carlos III and her brother Carlos IV. The Infanta maintained intense correspondence with Queen Maria I of Portugal, that allows us to glimpse traits of his personality and her family relationship.
