Abstract

A few documents published in the early 15th century, arising from the dispute regarding houses, tents and cabins built around the recently erected church, on the property of Lorvão monastery, will help clarify this issue. The paper will also include some ideas on the seigneurial regime and the stiffened perception hereof by their own institutions.
