Professor Adinel-Ciprian Dincă has been working with the Centre for History of Society and Culture (CHSC) since late 2021, when he participated in the International Conference Research in Medieval Studies, co-organized by Maria Amélia Campos. Since then, their collaborations have allowed for a deeper understanding of two research frameworks established at the frontiers of Medieval Latin Christendom: The Portuguese parish and the parishes of the Transylvanian Saxons. Currently, the CHSC is a partner in the international RESTORY consortium, funded by the HORIZON program and coordinated by Professor Dincă. In this interview, space was given to reflect on the interviewee's primary research frameworks, his approach to building research teams, his relationship with the general public, and his reflections on the future of historical research in the new era of digital technology and Artificial Intelligence.
