Abstract

The relationship between teachers and pupils exposed to multiple social risks is the main theme of this paper is. Usually, researchers working in this field focus their attention on aspects of social care policies, forgetting that pupils’ academic experience is a central issue both for their present and future status. Drawing on the data from empirical studies, the author summarizes the pain, dilemmas and principles of action that guide teachers’ practices aimed at the students they consider at risk.
