Based on the theoretical framework specified in the text, this article presents the research project named “The emotional dimension of teaching and teacher training”, as a whole. This was intended to capture the educational dimensions of the feelings and emotions of two groups of teachers. After having inferred some training needs and aspirations, a research-training scheme was devised in order to develop the emotional literacy of the teachers. Throughout the process some changes occurred in the ability of emotional discrimination and in the beliefs and levels of reflexivity of the participating teachers as well.Downloads
