This article aims to present how web journalism resources are able to intensify the literary and magazine journalism and in-depth reporting characteristics. The focus of the analysis are the internet exclusive special reports produced by the piauí magazine in the years of 2018 and 2019, on a selection of four publications that aggregate sets of reports. The investigation has the proposal of using its own methodology, which tries to create a crossing between the characteristics of the focused formats, such as online, research and style. The observed characteristics are far from being innovative, but the internet is used as a device to intensify factors as contextualization and high-level detailing that are frequently highlighted in literary journalism studies.
