This article aims to analyze the social representations of Brazilian gay men about LGBT old age, based on the Theory of Social Representations. A semi-structured interview was conducted with gay men living in Brazil. The Descending Hierarchical Classification (CHD) and the Prototypic Analysis were used to analyze the seized representations. The results show the rooting of representations in negative aspects of old age and the denial of sexuality in this phase of life, where they reinforce the prejudice and corroborate with the double discrimination experienced by older LGBTs.
