This article focuses on the issue of education for gender equality, in the context of education in the 1st cycle, held in the academic year 2017-2018. The study started from the collection of children's conceptions about gender equality for the elaboration of a set of playful-pedagogical activities that promoted positive attitudes towards gender equality. Structured from a qualitative perspective of the investigation, action research was adopted as a strategy, using observation and semi-structured interviews, mobilizing field notes and interview guidelines, whose data were subjected to content analysis, resulting in a process of reflection and reconstruction practices adapted to the context and the group of children that fostered equality and allowed to deconstruct stereotype.
