Author Biography

Clara Rowland, Center for Comparative Studies, University of Lisbon

Clara Rowland é Professora Auxiliar no Departamento de Literaturas Romnicas da Faculdade  de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa e investigadora do Centro de Estudos Comparatistas da mesma instituição. Desenvolve o seu trabalho nas áreas da Literatura  Brasileira, da Literatura Comparada e dos Estudos Interartes. É autora do livro A Forma do Meio: Livro e Narração na Obra de  João Guimarães Rosa (2011), publicado no Brasil pela UNICAMP. Coordena actualmente o projecto de investigação «Falso Movimento “ estudos sobre escrita e cinema». Clara Rowland is Assistant Professor in the Departament of Romance Literatures at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon. She is also a researcher at the Center for Comparative Studies. Her work focuses on Brazilian Literature, Comparative Literature, and Interart Studies. She is the author of the book A Forma do Meio: Livro e Narração na Obra de João Guimarães Rosa (2011), published in Brazil by UNICAMP. Currently she is the coordinator of the research project «Falso Movimento “ studies on writing and cinema».
