We present an academic and reflexive dialogue of two investigations: “Communication and Well-Living (or Good Living) in the territory” and “Popular and Peripheral Educommunication in Latin America: Dialogues of knowledges between Communication Collectives, Academia and peripheral territories” to articulate the theoretical and experiential developments of the concepts of Communication and Well-living, starting from the recognition of the processes of Research Participatory Action that the Academia and the social and community collectives promote, whose communication practices renew the notions of organisation, knowledges and peripheral territories and are at the core of basic postulates of a communication for well-living. We support the hypothesis that the local Communication Collectives manage to design and build alternatives of organisation, participation and social incidence through which they contribute to the preservation and circulation of local knowledge and memories, thanks to the appropriation of the community media.
